WRITTEN WORK.

In our class, there will be several major written homework assignments as well as other shorter writing assignments in our book. You will not be graded on the content of your finished writing. Instead, you will receive points for the process of planning, writing, editing and re-writing. The rubrics provided below are for reference and will be used for peer editing in class sessions.

**Please note: On time work = 1 point. Late work = 1/2 point **

Each part of the writing process is worth 1 point and most assignments will have a due date (you will find this on the schedule page). If you complete the assigned work on  time you will receive your full points. If you miss the due date, you can submit the late work anytime in the semester for 1/2 points.
