WRITTEN WORK
This semester we will focus on improving your paragraph writing. We will follow a process to help you plan, write and edit your work.
You will receive points for completing the process. You will receive feedback from your classmates and from me but your work will not be given a grade. If you complete the process for each of the 4 assignments you will earn all of the 20 points possible for homework.
Introduction Email
You will write an email to me or another professor at KNU. You will introduce yourself and discuss your major.
Time Order Paragraph
You will use sequence order, transition words and proper paragraph formatting to tell a story, write about a series of events or a person's life (biography).
Descriptive Paragraph
You will use descriptive language, transition words and basic paragraph organization to describe a person or place.
Student's Choice
You will use the skills you have learned in the previous writings to complete the writing process for another unit in the book.
